Preliminary results for 2012 ECPR Executive Committee elections



From 1st November 2011 to 15th March 2012, the European Consortium for Political Research conducted a three-stage process to elect new members to the organisation’s Executive Committee.

On 15th March, the voting period was concluded. The winners, as determined by the current Executive Committee and verified by the Senior Returning Officer, David Farrell, were (in alphabetical order) as follows:

Alternates for any vacancies that may arise shall be filled using the countback method within STV or where this is not possible via co-optation (as per Point 14f of the Constitution).

At its upcoming meeting in Antwerp, the ECPR Council shall vote to confirm these results.

If the results are confirmed, the composition of the new Executive Committee (to take office on 14 April 2012) shall be (in alphabetical order):
