About

Moshe Maor is Professor of Political Science at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the holder of the Wolfson Family Chair of Public Administration. His research interests center on the study of proportionality in public policy, the connection between bureaucratic reputations and the behavior of governmental agencies, the comparative study of public sector reforms, and the study of parties and party systems. His books include Political Parties and Party Systems (Routledge, 1997) and Parties, Conflicts and Coalitions in Western Europe (Routledge and LSE, 1998). His edited books include, among others, Organizational Reputation in the Public Sector (with A. Waeraas; Routledge, 2015). He also published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory, Governance, Public Administration, European Journal of Political Research, Journal of European Public Policy, Policy Sciences, West European Politics, Journal of Theoretical Politics, Public Administration Review, Administration & Society, Democratization, Disaster, Israel Affairs, and Israel Studies Review.
