We would like to thank you for attending the Standing Group on Parliaments which introduced its 7th Conference, it was hosted by the Centre for European Studies and Comparative Politics (CEE) at Sciences Po, Paris.
This focused, inspiring gathering offers an invaluable experience for scholars interested in studying legislatures, from across all regions and methodological backgrounds.
Away from the hectic bustle of large-scale conferences, the event will provide opportunities for in-depth discussions and fruitful networking.
The academic programme will be complemented by social activities including a visit to the French parliament on the first day and a conference dinner on the second. You will have ample opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new Standing Group members.
In light of the postponement of our Summer School due to the ongoing restrictions, the organisers hope to be able to offer participating PhD students additional opportunities for mentoring by experts in the field.
NB: While we are actively planning to host a face-to-face event at Sciences Po, Paris, we are prepared to adopt a virtual format, if necessary.
