To Nottingham by air


East Midlands Airport is the closest airport to Nottingham. Located in Castle Donnington, approximately 14 miles from Nottingham, it is served by a few international carriers.

From East Midlands Airport you can take the Skylink bus service to the City Centre and University Campus. Buses leave from outside the Airport Arrivals hall. To go straight to the University Campus, alight at ‘Lace Street’ stop, which is close to the south entrance to University Park campus, and take the University's free Hopper Bus service from University Park to Jubilee Campus. A taxi from the airport direct to the University is approximately £20; the taxi rank is located on the terminal forecourt. Taxis are normally available 24 hours.

Manchester Airport provides a greater choice of international carriers, and is located 83 miles from Nottingham. Regular train services operate between Manchester and Nottingham, taking around two hours. See National Rail Enquiries or The Trainline for more information.

London’s Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted Airports provide a much greater choice of carriers, located around 130 miles from Nottingham. All London airports provide shuttle services into central London; from there, regular services operate between London St Pancras station and Nottingham (from 1 hours 45 mins). To Nottingham by rail

Nottingham is positioned in the centre of the United Kingdom, and is very well connected to allother major cities by the rail network.  Regular services operate between Nottingham and London St Pancras (from 1 hours 45 mins), Birmingham (1 hour 15 mins), Leeds (2 hours), Manchester (2 hours), or Sheffield (1 hour).

From Nottingham City centre to Jubilee campus

A number of public transport services run close to or through the campus.

By bus
There are a number of bus services running from Nottingham to Jubilee Campus.  Please see the bus services page for further information.

By taxi
There are taxi ranks throughout the city and immediately adjacent to the main railway and bus stations. The journey to the campus takes approximately 15 minutes.

To Nottingham by car from the M1 Motorway

Leave the M1 motorway at Junction 25 to join the A52 to Nottingham. After five miles turn left onto the A6514, Middleton Boulevard. Turn right at the next roundabout onto the A609 Wollaton Road. The main entrance to Jubilee Campus is clearly signposted on the right.
