Proposals for Papers and Posters are accepted across six Panel themes.

Submitting your proposal

Good to know

To make a proposal, you and your co-author(s) must have a My ECPR profile. If you don’t already have one, it takes just a few clicks to create.
If your proposal has more than one author, the person making the proposal will be listed as the Presenter.

What you'll need

The proposal title and abstract (maximum 500 words)
3 – 5 keywords*, selected from a predetermined list, indicating the Paper’s subject, theme and scope.
A brief description about the paper presenter(s)
The Co-author’s email address as registered in My ECPR (if applicable)

*We use keywords to categorise Papers and Panels, enabling users to search the online programme.

What happens next

Review of proposals

Four Paper presentations per Panel will be accepted, along with allocated time for approved Poster presentations.

If your submission is accepted, you will be allocated a maximum of 20 minutes for oral presentation and a maximum of 5 minutes for Poster presentation. Posters should be presented in a participatory format and there will be ample time for scientific exchange and networking

Abstracts will be evaluated by a group of reviewers based on the following criteria:

contribution’s match with the conference topics;
suggested ways of engaging the audience;
the general quality of the abstract, as documented by its overall consistency.

All proposers are informed of the outcome in June 2022.

Once you know the outcome

If you wish to attend ► Register before the registration deadline
If you cannot attend ► Email us immediately so we can rearrange contributions if necessary
If one of your co-authors can attend and present in your place ► Email us to let us know they should be listed as Presenter

You will be expected to submit your full Paper, or a Poster via your My ECPR profile by 1 September.
