Practicalities

All in-person Panels will be held at the University of Innsbruck, across various buildings.

Room allocations for your Panels and Roundtables are indicated in the Timetable and your Itinerary which are also available via the event platform

Health and safety

We are acutely aware that things have changed considerably since our last in-person General Conference in 2019. Our goal is to help you reconnect safely.

Although most covid-19 restrictions have now been lifted across many countries, please help us make you and your fellow participants feel as comfortable as possible by following the guidelines outlined below.

Please also carefully review the University of Innsbruck’s Hygiene and Safety Measures. The content is continuously updated, so do keep monitoring this page closely.
Check travel advice

If you are travelling from overseas, please closely monitor the official travel guidelines of your home country.

Refer to the Austrian government’s website for the latest and most accurate information about travelling to and within Austria.

Consider testing

We recommend that you consider taking a lateral flow test before attending the conference.

Remain mindful of social distancing

Consider that others might not be fully comfortable at large gatherings, and some may be at high risk or immunocompromised.

Face coverings

We recommend wearing an FFP2 mask, especially in common areas in the building and when meeting other people. This recommendation applies when distance cannot be kept or in circumstances that otherwise necessitate mask wearing.

If you feel unwell

If you are feeling unwell or test positive for covid-19, please do not attend the conference in person.

Our Events Team are happy to offer their assistance in arranging virtual participation, should you feel well enough to take part.
