We've created this handy guide to help you at every step of your General Conference experience – from uploading your Paper to making the most of your participation.
Everyone participating in an in-person Panel held in Innsbruck.
Important: Please ensure you are logged into the event platform with the same My ECPR account as the one you have registered for the event with, using the same username and password.
The format of each Panel and activity is indicated in the programme with the following icons:
In-person Panel or activity
Virtual Panel or activity
You can also search the programme by Panel code: INN for in-person Panels held in Innsbruck and VIR for virtual Panels.
We will stream all in-person Panels and headline events online.
These will be available to all conference participants via our event platform – simply head to On Now and follow the link to join.
All Panels will be streamed via Zoom through the event platform to allow for virtual participation, such as observers. Student assistants in your Panel room will help connect you in Zoom to stream your Panels online.
Your allocated Panel room will be equipped with a PC, webcam and projector.
Please remind all Paper presenters to make sure they are fully visible on the webcam during their presentation.
As there is only one webcam with a microphone in front of the PC, when questions are being raised by the participants in the Panel room, please repeat these in front of the camera so that virtual participants can also hear clearly.
The student assistant in your Panel room will be on hand to provide support in case you have any questions.
To access the event platform and your Itinerary, you will need to log in with the same My ECPR account as the one you registered for the event with, using the same username and password.
Please make sure you have tested and are aware of your credentials in advance of your Panel session.
To help you and your colleagues feel as safe and comfortable as possible, we've put together this page containing essential health and safety guidelines, as well as some important practical information.
Our organising team at the University of Innsbruck have rounded up their suggestions here for where to stay and what to eat and drink around the city, along with suggestions for spots to visit.
When arranging travel and accommodation, please ensure that your booking is refundable.
We think that everyone deserves a positive event experience.
Please take a few moments to read our Code of Conduct which outlines our expectations regarding the conduct of participants at all our events.
Please upload your Paper (in PDF format and in English) well ahead of your presentation so that your fellow Panel attendees have time to prepare comments and questions.
You can also use this facility to replace your Paper or remove it after the event.
Contact our Events Team.
Please email your Paper to your Panel Chair.
Simply click the Export to Calendar button in your Itinerary.
If you are presenting a Paper, please bring your presentation on a USB stick to upload to the PC provided.
