We've created this handy guide to help you at every step of your General Conference experience – from uploading your Paper to making the most of your participation.
Everyone participating in a virtual Panel or observing.
Important: Please ensure you are logged into the event platform with the same My ECPR account as the one you have registered for the event with, using the same username and password.
The format of each Panel and activity is indicated in the programme with the following icons:

You can also search the programme by Panel code: INN for in-person Panels held in Innsbruck and VIR for virtual Panels.
We will stream all in-person Panels and headline events online.
These will be available to all conference participants via our event platform – simply head to On Now and follow the link to join.
As a Panel Chair, you have been assigned as Host for your Panel's Zoom meeting.
You will be automatically assigned as Host if you join your Panel in the browser.
You will need to use a 6-digit Host Key to claim your Host status for the meeting.
You'll find your Host Key in your Itinerary on the event platform. See Zoom guide – How to claim Host privileges.
When your Panel has finished, please make sure you click ‘End Meeting for All’.
To access the event platform and your Itinerary, you will need to log in with the same My ECPR account as the one you registered for the event with, using the same username and password.
Please make sure you have tested and are aware of your credentials in advance of your Panel session.
If all Panels in which you have a participating role are taking place virtually, please consider your environmental footprint and avoid travelling to Innsbruck.
Please note that the virtual participation fee (both participant and observer) covers online participation only.
We think that everyone deserves a positive event experience.
Please take a few moments to read our Code of Conduct which outlines our expectations regarding the conduct of participants at all our events.
Please upload your Paper (in PDF format and in English) well ahead of your presentation so that your fellow Panel attendees have time to prepare comments and questions.
You can also use this facility to replace your Paper or remove it after the event.

Simply click the Export to Calendar button in your Itinerary.
All virtual Panels will run on Zoom.
If you are directing a Panel, you will be automatically assigned as 'Host' for your Panel's Zoom sessions.
Before joining, familiarise yourself with features you may need – mute / unmute microphone, stop/start video, share screen, naming / renaming yourself, chat and 'raise hand'.

ECPR may record all events in the form of photography, screen capture, filming, and audio recording of interactions such as discussions during Panel sessions, roundtables or other headline events.
This media may be used by us to promote ECPR activities. These activities may include publishing it at ecpr.eu, or using it in digital and email marketing, on social media, and in other promotional materials.
If you do not wish to appear in such media, please email generalconference@ecpr.eu.
If you or any other participant want to take a screen capture for personal use, such as sharing on social media, you / they should request permission from the Panel or activity Chair.
