Abstract
This panel explores the mechanisms and processes of political participation and communication in complex interactive volatile environments which involve the employment of web technologies, social media and outdoors media shows. Social movements, protests, corruption dynamics and political attitudes dynamics in relation to governmental policies or parliamentary decisions have inspired conceptual and methodological research which targets democratic societies of different political cultures. The panel investigates and discusses the research theories and methodologies able to provide support for the analysis, modelling and simulation of the mechanisms and processes of political culture in interactive national/urban areas and international relations environments which intensively employ social media, socializing networks and new communication technologies.
