The past five years have seen a sustained growth in membership of the ECPR and this week we were delighted to welcome our 350th member.
More than ever, our membership represents those universities at the very top of the field: of the top 50 universities in Europe, 48 have joined the ECPR this year; of the top 50 universities worldwide, over half are members. It also represents the growth of political science throughout Europe and the rest of the world: we now have a large membership in North America and Australia and have welcomed members from Brazil, Chile and Japan in recent years.
The ECPR exists to serve the faculty and students at its member institutions and we are delighted to have the opportunity to extend those benefits to even more political scientists this year.
