Online Seminar Series are a win for our Standing Groups and Research Networks!

Standing Group and Research Network Seminar Series

Despite the hurdles and challenges of the past year, we are delighted to have been able to bring to life an array of exciting new projects and developments to coincide with our 50th Anniversary celebrations.

Among these are the Online Seminar Series – an endeavour spearheaded by our Standing Groups and Research Networks which directly speaks to our mission to continue pushing boundaries of specialist sub-fields of political science, even when the circumstances mean we have to stay physically apart.

About the series

The Online Seminar Series was launched with an overarching goal: to foster collaboration between political science scholars across Europe and beyond. The seminars showcase cutting-edge research presented by experts in their field, including Standing Group members and specially invited guests, with talks typically followed by a moderated discussion to allow for fruitful exchange.

The series so far

Over the course of the series which took off in September 2020, five of our Standing Groups and Research Networks delivered 13 exceptional online seminars addressing a broad range of topical issues and themes, drawing a network of over 400 paritcipants to discuss, debate, and most importantly – stay connected.

FREE and open to all

Open to all scholars interested in the corresponding field and completely FREE to attend, the seminars are very much geared towards facilitating diversity and inclusivity across the discipline.

Join the seminars to:

► Explore the latest thinking in the field
► Connect with like-minded scholars
► Share your insights and debate the topics presented

It's easy to get involved
