2017 ECPR Lifetime Achievement Award: do you know someone worthy?

Political science succeeds when individuals go the extra step to develop our understanding of the field.

It is because of the outstanding contribution made by such individuals that we celebrate them, and their work, through our biennial Lifetime Achievement Award.

Past winners include Roderick Rhodes (pictured, accepting his award from Executive Committee member Klaus Goetz at our 2015 General Conference in Montreal), Ian Budge, and Giovanni Sartori. See a full list of past winners.

The 2017 prize, which is endowed with €5,000, will be presented at our next General Conference, which takes place from 6 – 9 September in Oslo.

Official Representatives of ECPR member institutions or national political science associations can nominate a candidate. All nominations should be accompanied by

  • a curriculum vitae of the nominee
  • bibliography of the nominee
  • letter(s) of recommendation from the nominator(s)

Deadline for nominations is 15 March 2017. Find out more about the jury, and the nomination procedure.
