CfP Panel 'Multilevel governance of international migration: Challenges and dynamics in the global context', 2025 ECPR General Conference

This panel explores the challenges and dynamics of multilevel governance in international migration, highlighting interactions between governmental and non-governmental actors across multiple spheres—local, national, regional, and global. With the growing complexity of migration flows and mobility policies, new models and institutional arrangements have emerged, seeking to regulate immigration, promote integration, and respond to migration crises. This panel examines how governments at various levels, NGOs, supranational organizations, and private actors collaborate or conflict in shaping migration policies and implementing practices for reception and inclusion.
