About

Boutaina Ismaili Idrissi is Professor of Economics at Faculty of Law, Economics & Social sciences of Agdal -University Mohammed V Rabat-, She holds an MBA from the University of Central Lancashire (United Kingdom) and a PhD in economics from the University of Perpignan (France). She is also teaching courses in economics for American Universities Education Abroad programs in Rabat. Besides her previous professional background in the public sector where she was close to social economy sector and SME’s in Morocco. She conducted various researches and participated in several national and international conferences on her main research interests related to the major issues of the Moroccan economy, Euro-Mediterranean relations, entrepreneurship, remittances, migration and refugees. Dr Ismaili is also a professor in the Master degree of “Migrations and societies” and supervises researches within the Master and PhD degree at the same University on issues related to migration some of which are based on field surveys or econometric analysis. She is also member of the Euro- Mediterranean Research Network on Migration (EuroMedMig) coordinated by GritimUpf, Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona since 2019 and member of the Centre Méditerranéen d’Études et de Recherche Internationales et Communautaires (CericMed).
