About

I am PhD researcher at the Bremen Intnernational Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS), where I am currently in the third year of my doctoral research project. My work focuses on exploring online spaces as a medium for practices of everyday resistance. The main goal is to understand how the discourses and deliberations of online groups affect the solidarity demonstrated within them, and the propensity for engaging in resistance attitudes and behaviours. This study is situated within a wide interdisciplinary framework, combining insights from political science, sociology, and social psychology. In my work, I utilise mixed research methods. I am particularly passionate about combining qualitative insights with computational methods of data collection and analysis. Prior to joining BIGSSS, I studied at the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom, from where I hold an MA degree in Politics and International Relations with First Class Honours.
