About

Dr Eddy Bruno Esien is a researcher and teaching fellow at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Department of Public and Social Policy, Charles University in Prague - Czech Republic. He earned a PhD in Public and Social Policy at Charles University Prague. His research focuses on the transformation of the welfare state governance, and in particular, the role of the government, public and non-state agencies in public goods and services policy decision making, processes, implementation, and administration for the common good. His research interests also include public administration, comparative institutions, NGOs, CSOs, public/social policy administration, youths, comparative politics, labour economies and industrial relations, sustainable development, local government, constitutionalism, African studies, decentralisation, political study/economy, (multilevel) governance, democracy, (digital)citizenship, migration and ethnic minority studies, policy analyses, and corruption etc. His research has been published in diverse professional double-blinded peer-reviewed scientific journals such as The NISPAcee Journal of Public Administration & Policy, Danube Law, Economics and Social Issues Review, NISPAcee Press, and Nordic Journal of Migration Studies etc. He is member of several professional scientific journals Editoral Board, academic conference scientific committees, and acadamic organisations to advance research, teaching, networking, and institutional development etc. He also provide volunteer community services to different organisations as honorary president, mentor for mentoring, as well as CSOs Policy Advisory Council Member etc for democracy, (disadvantaged) citizens welfare and human rights protection, poverty reduction, sustainable development, and participatory inclusiveness
