Michael Drašar is PhD student of political science and research assistant at Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University. His dissertation is focused of non-partisanship in presidential elections in Europe after 1989. He tries to understand the relationship between electoral results of non-partisan candidates and characteristics of the state (e.g. institutional, partisan, economic etc.). He also focuses on topics of , elections, electoral behaviour, presidential studies, quantitative methodology, electoral and constitutional systems, especially in Central European area.
