Together with his team he participates to 50 international events annually including workshops and conferences on digital culture, social innovation, education, civic empowerment, fostering engagement and entrepreneurship skills. Expert in Design Thinking techniques applied to new ICT products and services of European institutions, museums and national libraries. Founder of the Goteo platform in 2011, a recognized, award-winning creator of an open standard for crowdfunding for the commons and generating new digital commons. Involved in emerging models and economic sustainability practices around commons-oriented projects, addressing and exploring topics, such as participatory democracy, collaborative governance, cooperativism, collaborative economy, crowdsourcing, civic crowdfunding and match funding. Member of the Advisory Board of Fundación Ciudadana Civio, an independent, non-profit organization based in Spain which monitors public authorities, reports to all citizens and lobbies to achieve true and effective transparency within our institutions.
