I am a professor of Political Science at the University of Canberra, Centre for Deliberative Democracy and Global Governance. I work in the area of deliberative/participatory democracy and democratic innovations. My research combines normative theory with interpretive political research and focuses on the ways actors understand, practice and improve democracy.
