You can earn up to four ECTS credits, for a Main course only, confirmed by the University of Bamberg, based on a workload of 30 hours for one credit.
On successful completion of the required work as detailed below, and following receipt of your grades from the instructor, ECPR will send you a credit certificate based on the University of Bamberg's rules. It is for your home institution to recognise these credits.
All participants who attend 80% of their course classes will receive a Certificate of Attendance, provided they attend the sessions and sign the attendance sheets.
If you want ECTS credits, tell your instructor on the first day of the course when you sign the attendance sheet.
No ECTS credits are awarded for these, only a Certificate of Attendance.
ECTS credits are awarded for the following:
The task(s) to be assessed by the instructor and required to earn credits are listed below and must be graded (see below under tasks).
We ask instructors to make at least two of these four options available to students.
Indicative conversion table
Each country or/and institution may have their own conversion tables for grades. This scale is designed merely to facilitate conversion and provide general indication about the grading used by Winter School instructors. Local institutions will convert the scale according to their own conversion tables.
