Publishing at ECPR
Publishing the very best new thinking in political science is central to ECPR's mission. Our portfolio brings together leading journals, established book series, and The Loop – our blog for news and topical analyses within and beyond academe.
These platforms help scholars around the world read and publish cutting-edge research, shape the discipline, and advance their careers. Through our publications, events, and editorial opportunities, ECPR supports researchers at all stages in maximising the reach and impact of their work.
Open Access from 2026
From 1 January 2026, ECPR is partnering with Cambridge University Press to publish its journals fully Open Access. This unified outlet makes a significant body of social science research freely accessible to our global community.
Open Access publishing is supported through Cambridge University Press’s transformative agreements and funding programmes, alongside APC waivers for ECPR Member affiliates publishing in PRX. Learn more about ECPR's transition to Open Access.
