Julia Rone obtained her PhD at the Department of Social and Political Sciences at the European University Institute, Florence. Her Thesis explores social movements and more particularly, mobilizations against trade agreements. Currently, she is doing research on Euroscepticism and the Rise of Radical Right Media in Europe. Julia has an MSc degree from the Oxford Internet Institute and a BA degree from Sofia University. She has taught in the University of Florence and the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. She is currently a part-time lecturer at the University of Sofia and visiting a fellow at the Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society, Berlin.
