How to participate

The Summer School is open to PhD and Master's students from political science, international relations, public administration or related areas. As a basic requirement, all applicants should have completed an introductory course in political and administrative sciences or international relations at the BA-level.

You will present a 6,000-8,000 word research paper or book chapter, and discuss another participant's paper. In exceptional circumstances, we may also accept project proposals or research plans.

• CV
• Recommendation letter from a supervisor
• Research paper abstract of max. 500 words

After the Academic Convenors have evaluated all applications, confirmation of approved papers will be sent via email. To register, you will need a MyECPR account.

Registration is free and includes:

• Participation in eight lectures/courses, as detailed in the Daily summary
• Morning coffee and coffee breaks in the afternoon
• Dinner on 9 June
• Dinner on 14 June
• Certificate of Attendance, provided at the end of the Summer School

Accreditation:

If you have attend the whole Summer School, presented a Paper and taken part in discussions, you will be awarded a certificate for 3 ECTS credits.
