Bratislava has railway connections with major cities of neighbouring countries including Prague, Budapest and Vienna. Bratislava has two railway stations – the Main Station and Petržalka.

The Main Station is connected to the rest of the city via trams, buses or trolleybuses and you can get to the Old Town by foot in under 15 minutes. From the train station in Petržalka, Buses 80, 91, 93 connect to the city centre.

Bratislava is situated near two international airports – Bratislava Airport (BTS) and Vienna-Schwechat Airport (VIE).  

Bratislava Airport (BTS) is served by several airlines including Ryanair, Wizz Air, Smartwings, Pobeda, flydubai, Cyprus Airways and Air Cairo.

Bus 61 from Main Railway Station (Hlavná Železničná Stanica)
Journey time: 25 minutes + 15 minutes on foot, or either Bus 93 (get off at Hodžovo Námestie) or Tram 1 (get off at Námestie SNP).

Vienna-Schwechat Airport (VIA) is located 40 km west of Bratislava and is one of the main gateways to Slovakia. VIA is connected to the Bratislava city centre by a range of shuttle bus lines including slovaklines.sk, eurolines.sk, regiojet.com, flixbus.com.
