Seeking Roundtables on Politics of Climate Change

Deadline for proposals: 15 March 2021, midnight GMT

What we are looking for

We are seeking Roundtables that explore the subject of Politics of Climate Change. Your proposal can focus on any aspect of the theme, such as, for example:

• living in the anthropocene;
• the role of social movements pushing for political change;
• how democracies with their in-built short-term horizon can deal with responding to complex challenges;
• the relationship between science and politics;
• academic conference travel in a time of climate emergency.

Who can propose

This call is open to all, whether or not you already have a role in, or submitted a proposal for this year's event.

What you'll need

• title of your Roundtable
• short abstract
• name and email address of the Roundtable Chair (or Chairs), as registered in My ECPR
• description of Papers planned, including themes
• list of potential speakers
