The OZP is published by the Austrian Political Science Association (AuPSA) four times a year since 1972. It is the main political science journal in Austria, indexed in the Social Science Citation Index (SSCI), in SCOPUS and ERIH plus.

All research articles undergo a double-blind peer review process.

While our focus is on political science, we also welcome contributions from related subjects.

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Furthermore, we do not charge any fees (“APCs") from the authors.
