Here to help

Our friendly Events Team are on hand to assist from 09:30 – 16:30 CEST, just email sgconferences@ecpr.eu.

Preparing for Summer School

You will be required to complete all readings sent to you via email ahead of the school starting and each daily lecture. You will also need to prepare a short 10 - 15 minute presentation that you will deliver during your allocated time at the project presentation sessions. You will have 30 - 40 minutes in total which allows time for questions and discussion after you have completed your presentation.

You have been assigned a group for the project presentation sessions that take place on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday morning. You can find the timings of these in the schedule. If you are not aware of which group you are in, please get in touch and we can confirm this for you.

Make sure you familiarise yourself with session times; these are indicated in the schedule. All session times are in Central European Summer Time (CEST).

You deserve a positive event experience. Please take a few moments to read our Code of Conduct which outlines our expectations regarding the conduct of participants at all our events.

Registration

On arrival at Building C, please head to REC C10.20, Floor 10, to collect your badge and register your attendance at the event. If you don't register on arrival, you won't receive a Certificate of Attendance after the event. During the school, there will be two rooms used: REC C10.20, Floor 10 of Building C and REC C7.00, Floor 7 of Building C. Locations for each session can be found in the schedule.

Wi-Fi Access

Eduroam is available on the campus so you can log in using your usual account details. The University of Amsterdam also offers the UvA Open Wi-Fi network for guests on campus without registration or passwords. More info on how to connect to the Wi-Fi can be found here.
