Know before you go

We've created this handy guide to help you with every step of your Kantian Political Thought Annual Rousseau and Conference experience. Please make sure to review this guide carefully before the event starts.

The ECPR Events Team will be on site throughout the event and can be reached at sgconferences@ecpr.eu.

Preparing for the Event

You will be provided with access to Canvas ahead of the event starting. We advise you to familiarise yourself with the materials ahead of attending the lecture and/or conference to get the most out of the experience. Virtual participants will be provided with the Zoom details for the relevant sessions no later than 17 November 2023

Make sure you familiarise yourself with all session times; these are indicated in the schedule. All session times are in Greenwich Mean Time(GMT).

You deserve a positive event experience. Please take a few moments to read our Code of Conduct which outlines our expectations regarding the conduct of participants at all our events.

Registration

Upon reaching Harbour House, please press the button which displays a bell symbol, located on the keypad to the right of the front entrance. A team member will then come down to greet you and guide you through the registration process.

We would like to emphasise that it is essential to register upon arrival, as failure to do so will result in the absence of a Certificate of Attendance after the event. For those participants who are attending virtually, your attendance will be monitored during the virtual sessions which will take place on Zoom.

Wi-Fi Access

You can access free wi-fi while you are at Harbour House. Wifi credentials will be provided on arrival.

Complete our questionnaire

Please take a few minutes to complete our post-event questionnaire. Your feedback really helps improve our events for scholars like you. The link to complete the survey will be circulated on Canvas on the last day of the event.

Certificate of attendance

You will be able to download your Certificate of Attendance via My ECPR, from Sunday 26 November, in four simple steps:

Head to My Events;
Find the event you had attended;
In the 'Select Certificate you would like to download' field, select your role from the drop-down list
Your PDF certificate will download automatically.

Notice of photography/filming
ECPR may record all events in the form of photography, screen capture, filming, and audio recording of interactions such as discussions in plenary sessions.

This media may be used by us to promote ECPR activities. These activities may include publishing it at ecpr.eu, or using it in digital and email marketing, on social media, and in other promotional materials.
