Thessaloniki Airport Makedonia is a 20–30 minute drive from both the city centre and the conference venue, depending on traffic.
Bus tickets from the airport are only available onboard via vending machines where you will need the exact change. For ticket fares and further nformation on bus routes, visit this page.
Bus Line 01X: An express route from the airport to the city centre, running every 20–25 minutes from 06:10 to 22:40. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes to the city centre and 50–55 minutes to its final stop at the KTEL Station (Makedonia Intercity Bus Station), Thessaloniki’s main bus station.
Bus Line 01N: Follows the same route but operates overnight from 23:10 to 05:55.
The closest bus stop to the university is Kamara.
The Sintrivani Metro Station is located just outside the campus and offers a quick way to travel around the city. Tickets can be purchased at the vending machines within the station. For more information regarding stops, operation times and fares please visit official website.

YMCA Thessaloniki offers childcare services for children between 5 and 12 during the week of the General Conference. The rates are €110 per week or €25 per day per child, from 07:30 to 16:30.
