The South-East European Research Centre (SEERC) is a research centre of CITY College, University of York Europe Campus. It specialises in multidisciplinary research in the fields of Enterprise, Innovation & Development, Information & Communication Technologies, and Society & Human Development.
If you are interested in attending the General Conference outside of your course hours, please note that all conference activities will be located at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, across four different buildings, all of which are within a short walking distance of each other. Thessaloniki Airport Makedonia is a 20–30 minute drive from both the city centre and the conference venue, depending on traffic.
Bus tickets from the airport are only available onboard via vending machines where you will need the exact change. For ticket fares and further nformation on bus routes, visit this page.
Bus Line 01X: An express route from the airport to the city centre, running every 20–25 minutes from 06:10 to 22:40. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes to the city centre and 50–55 minutes to its final stop at the KTEL Station (Makedonia Intercity Bus Station), Thessaloniki’s main bus station.
Bus Line 01N: Follows the same route but operates overnight from 23:10 to 05:55.
The closest bus stop to the university is Dimokritos.
The CITY College, University of York Europe Campus, Leontos Sofou Site is located within a 7-minute walk from the Dimokratias Metro Station, which provides easy access to the General Conference venue.
