Mariano Torcal is Full Professor of Political Science at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and the Spanish National Coordinator of the European Social Survey. He holds PhDs from the Autonomous University of Madrid and The Ohio State University, and has served as Chair of the Department of Political and Social Sciences at UPF. His award-winning research focuses on comparative politics, political deliberation and public opinion.

Javier Arregui is Full Professor in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, and has held a Jean Monnet Chair in EU Governance three times. He holds a PhD from the University of Groningen and previously conducted research at the Centre for Sociological Research (CIS) in Madrid. His research focuses on EU negotiation and decision-making, policy implementation and urban climate policies.

Marc Sanjaume-Calvet is Associate Professor of Political Science at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and a member of the Social and Political Theory Research Group. He previously taught at the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and served as an advisor to the Catalan Government’s Institute for Self-Government Studies. His research focuses on federalism, self-determination, secessionism and territorial governance.

Milena Ang is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona and a member of the Institutions and Political Actors research group. She holds a PhD from the University of Chicago and previously held positions at the University of Texas at San Antonio and the University of Chicago Society of Fellows. Her research focuses on comparative politics, criminal justice systems, the prosecution of corruption and observational research methods.

Aya Adra is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Pompeu Fabra University. She earned degrees from the American University of Beirut and completed her PhD at the Max Planck Institute for Research on Collective Goods. Her scholarship focuses on intergroup relations, social justice psychology, collective action, and protest behavior under repression.

Alina Felder is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. She holds a PhD in Political Science, with a thesis on European higher education, integration and regional cooperation policies. Her current research focuses on multi-level governance, the diffusion of EU public policy and cross-border academic mobility.

Tatiana Llaguno is Assistant Professor of Political Theory in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. She holds a PhD from The New School for Social Research, and specialises in critical theory, democratic theory and feminist political thought. Her research focuses on structural injustice, democratic participation and the normative foundations of social movements.

Marina Carré is a PhD Candidate and Research Assistant in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. Her research focuses on comparative politics, political behaviour and the dynamics of youth political participation in Europe. She also contributes to research coordination, survey administration and event management for the department’s projects.
