Excursions

There will be a wide range of cultural excusions to take part in during the Joint Sessions. Student helpers will be available alongside registration to take bookings.   These will need to be paid for in cash in the local currency of Polish Zloty.

Guided tour of Warsaw - available at the end of every day of the Joint Sessions - 15 PLN (if within a group of min 10 people).  Signing up for these will be available on site in Warsaw until 1500 between Monday 30 March and Thursday 2 April.

Visit to Fryderyk Chopin Museum, Ostrogski Palace, 1 Okólnik Street - free of charge to participants of the Joint Sessions - need to show your conference badge - available Monday through to Thursday after the Workshops have finished. 

Adventure Warsaw - Polish People's Republic Footprint of Warsaw - a tour to show how Warsaw looked under communism, taken in an old-fashioned taxi or old bus - approximately PLN 107 per person.  Available on Wednesday 1 and Thursday 2 April.

Wednesday 1 April - 1730 - LOCATION TBC - Prof. Jerzy Miziołek from Museum of University of Warsaw to give a lecture and show a film on the history of the University of Warsaw.  Cost to be advised.
