Abstract

The purpose of this panel is to share a range of critical perspectives on policy and practice. Taking challenging societal, economic, political and ecological conditions as their starting point, the papers reflect on the value of critique, reflexivity, emotions, soft power, and neoliberalism for thinking critically about policy processes. As such, the panel enhances understanding of how we can critically reconstruct policy, challenge hegemony, reveal power struggles and empower marginalised groups.
