The Publishing Landscape: Open Research, Transitional Deals, and Political Science

Abstract

This panel seeks to examine the status of academic publishing within political science, with a focus on the development towards Open Research practices such as Open Data, and the development and impact of transitional deals. Featuring representatives and specialists from the areas of publishing, political science academy, and transitional deals, this panel will provide an overview of recent developments (especially given the impact of the past 12–18 months) and examine data surrounding this, as well as a forum for a fruitful discussion.
