Cross-border relations of knowledge-based institutions

Abstract

This panel looks at knowledge-based institutions (Universities, Think Tanks, and Bilateral Partnerships) and their role in international relations and diplomacy. It looks both at the effects that these types of institutions have on the international contexts they seek to influence, as well as reflexively, at how their efforts to engage in international affairs affects the institution itself and its members and community.
