Abstract

Populists movements have re-opened the debate on the meaning of democracy challenging its representative character in a context of perceived crisis. Proposals as Orban´s defense of the superiority of i-liberal models to tackle with globalization, as well as constitutional reforms to reinforce the executives have given rise to a renewal of the theoretical reflection on the basis of our democracies and the threatens of their enemies.
