The panel zooms in at energy consumers and end-users and their role in technological change. It includes contributions mapping consumer preferences in electrical mobility and the heating market, or the modes of technology adoption followed by households. It also tackles the general issue of public acceptance and support, with analyses of the role of value creation from new technologies or investor consultation processes in the host communities acceptance.
