Feminism, Women and Social Movements

Abstract

This panel address feminism and gender issues in social movements from different perspectives and in various contexts across the globe. In so doing, it looks at feminism and feminist struggles from a relational perspective, considering how they are embedded in multi-faceted networks of interactions. At the same time, it looks at the role that women have in social movements and movement organizations to understand broader mobilizations' dynamics.
