Economic well-being in Alpine regions is dependent on using the regions' natural resources, which have become increasingly fragile due to the climate crisis. We will discuss with experts at the University of Innsbruck how the rapidly evolving climate crisis threatens the current model of living. The interdisciplinary Roundtable offers views from several disciplines on impacts, reception and response to crisis by the society and political system of an Alpine country: issues of public finance, future changes in Tyrolean tourism, local educational projects for future generations and geographical characteristics of the Climate Crisis in the Alpine Regions.
