This panel brings to the fore the experiences, roles, and treatment of groups often overlooked in human rights and transitional justice processes: children and youth, families and neighbors. Drawing from various methodologies, the papers analyze case studies in Colombia, Syria, Serbia, Kosovo and Bosnia-Herzegovina. The papers further discuss wide-ranging implications for personal and community development, intergroup reconciliation, and the respect of human rights.
