The governance of religious diversity

Abstract

Whereas countries have found ways of dealing with traditional religions, they struggle when it comes to accommodating religious diversity. Legislators, administrations as well as the judiciary try to find ways of dealing with certain religious symbols and rituals, particularly of minority religions. This panel looks at the governance of religious diversity in different countries based on specific issues.
