Abstract

Understanding how interest groups perceive themselves, manage their internal affairs and relationship with other actors is crucial for gaining insights into intra-democracy and the processes involved in seeking access and influence. This panel includes papers that explore new forms of interest mobilization, as well as lobbying and advocacy as modes of political participation. The papers delve into issues related to funding practices, professionalization, ties to political parties, and interest articulation.
