Abstract

This panel brings together papers that explore memories, temporalities, identities and expression to visibilise and critique spaces of transitional justice. Through case study research in South Sudan, Sierra Leone. Advancing empirical and theoretical contributions these papers expand the gaze of transitional justice to uncover the limits and possibilities for conventional, creative and everyday processes of justice and repair. Through interdisciplinary lenses and methods these papers explore expression, embodiment, memory, identity and the linearity across a range of transitional justice spaces.
