This roundtable brings together scholars in honor of the distinguished career of Richard S. Katz. Over the years, Professor Katz has made a foundational mark on the scholarship on elections, political parties, and democracy, and has regularly sought to communicate academic analyses to regulators and policy-makers. He has been a mentor and a teacher to generations of scholars and greatly shaped the trajectory of the ECPR, both as editor of the EJPR and as member of the Executive Committee. In this round table, the panelists and Professor Katz reflect on these different aspects of his career.
