Europe in an Age of Geopolitical Rivalry

Abstract

Against the backdrop of a militarily aggressive Russia, a politically ambitious China, and a relationship with the United States strained by American domestic politics, Europe finds itself in a new and uncertain age of geopolitical rivalry. This roundtable, drawing together leading experts on European politics, security, and foreign relations, will asses Europe's place in amidst these new realities. By virtue of the conference's location, special attention will be given to Ireland, but a range of topics will be discussed in a free-flowing roundtable format.
