Methodological Looks at Government Action

Abstract

Bayesian methods are increasingly important in empirical work across the social sciences. With a focus on incorporating prior information and reporting results in an intuitive probabilistic way, many find this to be ideal for describing uncertainty in social and political interactions. This panel will provide papers describing methodological innovations and applications using Bayesian approaches.
