Abstract

Speaker: Samuel Workman, West Virginia University This session will offer a live look-in at the 2024 Elections in the United States and what they mean for the prospects of policy reform on several important policy issues. The presidential election and control of the US Senate in particular will have profound consequences for fiscal policy, climate change, infrastructure, energy, and the environment. In addition, to the federal elections, the discussion will address important policy challenges in various regions within the US. Issue coverage will be useful for those looking to do research within these areas, and especially if the US is comparatively interesting.
