Abstract

This panel explores the transformation of global orders and regimes through the lenses of international political theory and the history of ideas. As geopolitical shifts, economic crises, and ideological contestations reshape the international landscape, the panel examines the conditions under which global orders become fragile, the actors and coalitions driving change, and the normative principles that should guide emerging orders. How do power dynamics, historical legacies, and competing visions of justice influence these transitions? Bringing together diverse theoretical perspectives, this panel seeks to deepen our understanding of the forces shaping global transformation and the possibilities for constructing a more just and stable international order.
