Abstract

In this panel, the contributions offer an analysis of political movements, feminist mobilisation, women-led peace movements and pro-democracy movements with insights from intersectional and post-colonial research as well as African feminist approaches to resistance. The panel addresses various contexts, including violent, patriarchal and fragile democratic contexts, to defend gender justice and inclusive participation.
