Abstract

This panel explores how democratic innovations—such as participatory platforms, deliberative forums, and digital engagement tools—are engaging citizens, with a special focus on EU-public relations It examines whether and how these practices enhance legitimacy, trust, and inclusiveness in the relationship between representative government, the EU and the citizens.
